North Myrtle Beach provides numerous handicap beach access areas.  The wide ramps with rails take you from the ocean side of the street parking lot, over the sand dune, and down to the beach.  Some of the well maintained ramps have an observation seating deck where those who want to look at the ocean and be on the beach without playing in the sand.  There are approximately a dozen hanicap beach access areas in North Myrtle Beach.  Access at Main Street and Sea Mountain Hwy. provide flat ground but only sand with no ramp.  If you want beach ramp access try 8th Ave. N., 12th Ave. N., and 15th Ave. N., in North Myrtle Beach.  

For those who don't mind a few steps up and down to get over the sand dunes there is public beach access and public parking at almost every block in North Myrtle Beach.
